Required attendance rate to the BIUCGM course
Annually, 12 course moments are provided, namely: 4 entire week-days counting for 4x2 = 8 course moments (half-day attendance = 1 course moment; entire day = 2 course moments); the Winter Meeting (= 2 course moments) and the Journées d'Automne in Liège (= 2 course moments). In three years the maximum of course moments = 36 (24 for attending BIUCGM courses and 12 for attending the Wintermeeting or Journées d'Automne).
The required attendance rate during geriatric training for the French and Dutch recognition committees has changed since February 2026. The requirements are now the same for both committees:

Note: MSF /ASO must use conference leave for (inter)national symposia, conferences, or trainings, not for course days.
