EuGMS: Survey on the use of physical restraints in patients with delirium across Europe

Dear Colleagues,
The Delirium Special Interest Group (SIG on Delirium) of the European Geriatric Medicine Society (EuGMS) would like to kindly remind you about the ongoing study “Survey on the use of physical restraints in patients with delirium across Europe.”
This initiative aims to provide an updated overview of current practices and attitudes regarding the use of physical restraints in the management of delirium among European geriatricians and related specialists. The results will help to better understand variability across countries and will contribute to the development of shared recommendations promoting best clinical practice.
The survey consists of three sections and takes approximately 7–8 minutes to complete.
The link to the survey is: https://aristea.us14.list-manage.com/track/click?u=7e244cec28699cf154835b1ea&id=c2a2e24dd8&e=fa229a718b
All responses are strictly anonymous and will be stored on a secure server, accessible only to the research team. Data will be analysed in aggregated form and used solely for academic purposes.
The survey will remain open until 1 March 2026. We would be very grateful if those who have not yet participated could take a few minutes to complete it.
We thank those who have already completed the survey and kindly ask them not to do so again.
We sincerely thank you for your valuable contribution and collaboration.
With kind regards,
Prof. Alessandra Coin
