Dr. Molnar is a Full Professor of Medicine, University of Ottawa (Canada), Division of Geriatric Medicine and Past-President of the Canadian Geriatrics Society (2017-2019). His interest in Dementia started in 1993 when, as an Internal Medicine Resident, he presented Grand Rounds on the first Cholinesterase Inhibitor, Tacrine. For the last 30+ years his clinical care, research and education activities have had a strong focus on Dementia (including Mind in the Geriatric 5Ms that he co-founded).
Dr. Molnar is one of the pioneers in the use of Minimal Clinically Important Difference (MCID) to define if treatments for Dementia pass a clinically meaningful threshold. He was co-author of the first study of MCID in Dementia in 1999 and first-author of the first systematic review of MCID in Dementia RCTs in 2009. He will discuss the use of MCIDs in Alzheimer Disease Modifying Therapies (Anti-amyloid antibodies).

We look forward to meeting many of you online!
